Where's your Leadership

This week I learned something that impacted my life more way than one.  As second year students which we are we lead by example.  Leadership students have the power and ability to influence those around them.  Because that’s all that leadership really is, “influence”.  Speaking on my own behalf, we are called to be the example in relationships, faith, and culture; we are called to lead with integrity, excellence, and honor.  There are only two types of leaders:  Bad leaders and Good leaders, the type of leaders you are is determined on you.  You can either uplift your community and those around you or you can bring destruction.  Like I have stated that being a leader automatically elevates you higher and brings you to a higher standard of living.  For the past few days, I have been down.  Don’t really know what it is, but it has ultiantmily affective us a community and family.  Sometimes it takes ones mistakes and failures to recognize a hole in a community.  That way they can be fixed, first hand I can say that it’s a humbling experience to say the least.  But its good, even as a leader sometimes you need correction and guidance, that’s the only way you can be successful and become a good leader.
