Possible

This week was a little interesting and short, the few days that we had were busy, then a few days were cut short due to Hurricane Sandy.  But in the meanwhile I observed something about some of the people in the community.  Some people use the phrase “I Can’t”, and honestly I really can’t stand that phrase.  It is an excuse for not allowing you to be pushed.  Being satisfied with were you’re at in life, and not wanting to change and grow.  Barriers!  I believe that every barrier that you face in life is a mental barrier.  Something that only you can break through if you truly want to, it’s not something that others can overcome for you, it’s an obstacle that is personal and only you can break through.  Being a leader you have to have the mental toughness to be able to break through difficult things, and even if you’re not the one that has a barrier up, be the motivator.  Be the one that pushes the issue.  I know from my own experience that when you push others that at that particular moment they aren’t going to like you, and you definitely aren’t going to get thanked for it.  Because they are forced to be pushed into something they aren’t comfortable with change.  But in the long run it’s for the better; I have been thanked for pushing others and allowing them to grow.   So as I leave today, who are you going to push? Who’s quitter are you going to test.
