Learning through experiences

Hello everybody my name is David Marriner.  Here I am a student at Mission Baltimore School of Ministry.  I’m new to blogging so hopefully this will be a great experience for me, I will be posting two blogs a week; stay tuned,  check out and hope you guess enjoy.

This past week I learned how it felt to become Homeless.  Taking a step into their shoes, experiencing and going through some of the tough things they endure is pretty rough.  After that experience you really appreciate life and how good some people have it versus out living on the street.  Grant it, I was just for one night but that was something I honestly never want to do again.  Being up north stuck in the cold with no food or shelter is not fun.  But as we were homeless, the true homeless people had a positive mindset.  It’s amazing that even though the way they live that they aren’t having negative mindsets.  They found a positive when their situation really wasn’t positive.  So with all this being said I just want to say to everybody out there, be grateful for what you have and who you have.  Because things could be worse, keep your head up, stay positive, and never get discouraged with any situation the world throws at you.

God Bless you,

David Marriner
