This week I learned a lot of things. But the most important thing
that I learned was that there is a fine line between friends and leaders. But
this lesson wasn’t from a person that is a first or a second year student. It
was from a person who has already been through the program. There are some
things that can be shared abroad, and some things that can’t cross that line or
should not even be brought up. This came about during a conversation, no matter
how mad or how frustrated you may become, throwing people under the bus just is
not called for, you can’t do it. It’s not Christ like, and we; people who are
striving to become fully devoted followers of Christ can’t let that happen.
Also we found out this weekend that we can be a great family, we just all have
to have the right attitudes. Another
thing that I learned is pay attention to details, no matter what you do,
details, details, details. It will be
key! This week I had a task to complete
and didn’t really pay close attention to the details and you will pay the price
if directions aren’t completely followed.
But I can say that in the end after certain conquences are made, that
you learn from the mistakes that you make.
Whether or not you realize it, sometimes certain discipline is
good. It just depends on how you look at
a situation and the mindset/attitude that you have!
